   Norton, 3 1/2 pages, (no place or date). Barlow, enclosing a poem [no longer present], and sending an unidentified. Little gift with the greatest interest. After I had read it myself I lent it to an American Judge who is writing some works on the operations of the brain, which it turns my brain to hear him talk of, more especially as he discusses the subject in such a low & inarticulate voice that the operation of hearing scarcely goes on in my head during the flow of conversation.
